Press Release: ALBUM 'LIAR' TOUR
Bankeray
Setelah sekian lama, sejak 2013 lalu Bankeray melakukan sesi rekaman untuk album debut mereka. Akhirnya, 2015 pada 8 Agustus lalu, mereka resmi merilis album penuh yang diberi titel “LIAR”. Berisikan 10 tracks dengan sesuatu yang beda dari kebanyakan band thrash metal di Indonesia dicetak dalam format kaset dan CD.
Ada beberapa tracks yang lumayan agresif, diantaranya “Ego”, “Jeki Berandal”, “Blarrr” dan single tentang kearifan lokal “You Kill My Earth”. Ada juga lagu yang cukup santai seperti “Mountain” dan “Mom”. Single “Thrash Attack” yang dirilis pada Rock In Solo 2013 juga turut masuk di album.
Album “LIAR” (dalam bahasa Inggris: Wild) juga pernah masuk review di Close Up magz Swedia. Dan untuk bulan November tahun 2015 ini, Bankeray akan melakukan tour Jawa dan bertemakan “Thrash Attack”. Band yang dibentuk tahun 2006 dengan nama awal “Choro Ngantoek” (Kecoa Ngantuk) ini beberapa kali bongkar pasang personil dan akhirnya berubah nama jadi “Bankeray” (diambil dari nama pohon dari Kalimantan: Bangkirai) pada 2008.
Dan untuk booking tour, sepenuhnya dihandle oleh 0857-9955-6880 (Muam) yang juga menghandle tour Gendar Pecel. Album “LIAR” dirilis oleh East Breath Records dan juga dijual secara worldwide. Dalam tour kali ini, Bankeray akan menyuguhkan sesuatu yang berbeda.

Bankeray is a Heavy / Thrash Metal band from the village in the Eastern city of Surakarta, commonly called Karanganyar. Since 2006, five young men full of spirit started a metal band called Bankeray. The name of the band was taken from a tree that comes from Borneo.
INFO PROVIDED BY THE BAND:
In 2007, Bankeray released their first demo, containing 3 songs. Then in 2009, the band released the single “Putrasetan”.
In 2010, they were invited to take part in “Smash Your Ass Tour” in GOR Mini Karanganyar with Funeral Inception, Down For Life, Take And Awake, etc. In September, Bankeray be one part of the “Rock In Solo 4: Summer Metalfest”, play in Stage II opening for US band Dying Fetus.
In 2011 they recorded seven live tracks in Patra Studio and produced the debut EP “Jalur Tengkorak”. They returned to play at “Rock In Solo 5: Heritage Metalfest” with guest stars Death Angel.
In early 2013, Bankeray did the recording process for their first full album, with 10 original songs. The recording process was completed at the end of October 2013 and was marked by the release of single “Thrash Attack” digitally through iTunes. In November they appear again on the annual “Rock In Solo 7: New World Propaganda” with Behemoth, Noxa, Navicula, Down For Life, Inlander, etc. Bankeray ended the year by appearing on stage at Rebelhood: Road To Bandung Berisik in “Jakcloth Festival 2013″ in Jakarta with Down For Life, Matius III : II, etc.
